Coach Keith Virdell
Assistant Head Football Coach and Offensive Line Coach, Westwood High School

Coach Virdell has nearly 20 years of experience in education and coaching. Over his career he has worked as a teacher, coach/coordinator, with Athletic Director and Head Fotball Coach experience. He has coached many other sports with a main focus on track and field.

Coach Virdell holds a bachelors degree from The University of Texas, where he also played football. He recieved his masters degree from Lamar University with a focus on Educational Administration.

Outside of athletics Coach Virdell enjoys spending time with his family. His Wife TyAnna is a school councelor and his two sons, Kade and Kyler, are in 6th and 4th grade. During their down time, you can find the Virdell family on the road in their RV or enjoying the outdoors on the lake.
