Coach Andrew Dudney
Director of Football Ops & Assistant Football Coach , Westwood High School

Coach Dudney brings over three decades of coaching experience across the "big three" sports to Westwood High School, where he currently serves as The Director of Football Operations and as an assistant football coach.

Throughout his distinguished career, Coach Dudney has led and mentored countless student-athletes. He spent half of his coaching career as the Head Basketball Coach at Austin High School during its celebrated "glory years", and later continued his passion for sports at Mary Carroll High School down on the coastal bend area. There he coached both basketball and baseball before his first "retirement stop."

Coach Dudney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Edward's University, where he was a four-year letterman and two-year team captain on the basketball team. His leadership on the court naturally guided him toward a lifelong career in public education and coaching.

Off the field, Coach Dudney enjoys setting sail on cruises and cherishing time with his beloved college-sweetheart and wife, Deborah. The couple is proud to be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. They have three adult kids Sydney (27), Drew (25), and Djer (22).
